Safety scissors

I don't know why I'm so obsessed with finding the perfect pair of scissors for Caroline. I just thought I'd share about the scissors I found yesterday at Dollar Tree. They have this little yellow lever that flips out and makes the scissors automatically reopen after each cut. They also have plastic over the tip, which none of our other pairs do.

Caroline picked out a red pair and we used them today to cut out her bible verse. She seemed to cut much quicker... not any straighter though ; )

It's an item I haven't seen at our Dollar Tree before and they had plenty in stock.
