Early risers

My girls used to wake up at 7 o'clock on the dot and then Caroline would start a show for them on the TV.  Sometimes, Caroline would set it up for Charlotte and then she'd head back to bed.

But, since it's been darker in the mornings, the girls have been sleeping later.  And now, when they wake up, they climb into Caroline's bed together - pillow pets and all - and Caroline reads for them.

I'm so glad they have this opportunity to share a room and spend time alone together.  Don't get me wrong, the loud bedtimes are no fun, but the payoff this morning on the monitor is so worth it.
