You know, it can be about mommy sometimes, so here is my update.
I'm feeling really good. Asides from being emotional at times about nursing, I'm getting good sleep, not feeling too crampy or sore, and I'm really enjoying both of my girls. I think a lot of post-birth pain that I had with Caroline was actually related to my undiagnosed pilonidal cyst (that I had surgery on in May), so compared to that, this is a cake walk. I'm moving around great and by the second day home was really good at the stairs - which I was a little worried about.
I'm also being really blessed by having my mom here and I'm really appreciating what a wonderful partner my husband is. Kevin has been right by my side for every feeding and pumping. I don't know many guys that would be that helpful.
Here's a picture from family Bible time last night. Caroline had requested it earlier in the day, so we reinstituted our pre-bath Bible time and let Charlotte have her first lesson - the Good Samaritan.

Me
I'm calling a lactation consultant today and should meet her either today or tomorrow. Say a prayer that she's the miracle we need.

I am praying you have a great appointment with the lactation consultant.
I echo what Amanda said. It was good to hear how you are doing.
Hope things go well with the lactation consultant. We had to meet with one also because Landon was NICU for 2 days, he had to be on the bottle and it was hard to switch after that. I was determined though and did end up breastfeeding for 13 mo. The consultant through TW was wonderful. We met as a family and that was great to have the support for all of us to be a part of it and I'm glad you have that, as well! Your girls are beautiful! Hope it goes well!
i'll keep you in my heart margaret :) your girls are so cute!
