Weekend in Tyler

After a few days in College Station, we made our way to Tyler for some more family fun.

Mom and Dad ring the Salvation Army Bell on the Saturday after Thanksgiving each year and they usually take any grandkids that are around.  They get a lot more donations that way!  Who could resist these sweet bell-ringers.

We went in shifts this year, so while Will's kids were having their turn, we treated our girls to a cookie.  We were right by Santa and Caroline was brave enough to sit on his lap.  Charlotte didn't want to go near him though.  Then we rode the escalator a few times before meeting up with the rest of the family.  Will's kids ended up having their picture made with Santa before they headed back to the house.

After playtime with cousins, we had some extended family over for dinner.  My grandpa's sister, Aunt Pat, was in town from Iowa and my cousin Marshall was in town with Dianne.  They've been married almost a year, but this was my first time to get to meet her.

It was a fun visit with everyone and while we were doing introductions, we got to announce that we'd have a new family member arriving in July.

It was a funfilled day.  The kids all watched a video before bed.  We have quite a full living room when they are all lined up.
