Math Drill

Caroline just did her first math drill.  25 problems of her six doubles facts (0+0 thru 5+5).  She got a 100%.  That is after I figured out she was intentionally doing the second row wrong... as I had done in my example when we talked about checking our work. 

So, I had to make a copy and then we played a game afterwards where she did them wrong on purpose... she got a 48% on that one ; )

It's always so interesting to look ahead in curriculum and think "no way is she going to be doing this" and then finally see them accomplish it.  That's how I felt with the readers in Hooked on Phonics.  I really didn't know how she would be able to read them and now they are a breeze.
