Neighborhood Egg Hunt

Later on Saturday morning, we hosted a neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt and picnic lunch. It's something that the families on our street had done in the past, but hadn't since we've moved to the street. So along with two other families, we have revived the tradition. There were five families on our street that hunted, plus the cousins visiting us. We were really blessed to have three families hide eggs that didn't even have kids participating. The kids all had FULL baskets of eggs.

I loved watching all the kids sit on the quilt and go through their baskets.

Then everyone had a picnic lunch. One of Kevin's co-workers joined us for the picnic and it was nice to get to know their little family and new daughter.
