Charlotte's favorite book right now is "It's Not Easy Being a Bunny." We read it at least five times a day. "Bunny book again, Mommy," is a frequent request.
It is a story about a bunny that wants to be something else. So he tries living with the bears, birds, beavers, pigs, moose, possums, and skunks before realizing he'd rather be a bunny. Each section ends with... "I don't want to be a _____. I'd rather be a..." and then you turn the page and Charlotte yells out the next animal. Super cute. And how many, almost 2 year olds say possum?
Charlotte has a double ear infection this week, so she's sleeping peacefully for her morning nap with all her meds. I thought this was rather an interesting way to be sleeping.
The other morning, she was awake when I went to get her and she was sitting with her legs through the slats. And her baby doll high chair was close enough for her to be kicking the tray with her feet and making quite a ruckus on the baby monitor.
