November Art

This November, Caroline learned that there was a ship called the MAYFLOWER and that the PILGRIMS came on the ship because THEY DIDN'T HAVE THEIR OWN CHURCH. It really tests my knowledge of history when I try to boil something down into the simplist of facts that a three year old can memorize.

My favorite craft is Caroline's handprint turkey that she made in MOPS. She also made the I AM THANKFUL FOR poster at MOPS. When she brought it home, she read off all the letters on the title.

There are several projects that we did to reinforce her color sight words. She now knows the eight major color words. The only project we did with them all was the "color by word" turkey that I made.

We made a handprint tree with things that Caroline is thankful for.

The paper dolls were a fun project that we got from Miss Sarah. We had to print our dogs out on the computer so they could be part of the family too. Since Miss Sarah was sweet enough to share her extras, we passed our extras along to some more friends - what a great idea for something to do with extra specific craft supplies.
