Face off

It was finally time to carve a face in the pumpkin on Halloween morning.



Kevin and Charlotte manned the cameras most of the time (daddy doesn't like gooey pumpkin guts).

Caroline tends to agree with daddy. She only wanted to use a spoon to clean out the insides.

Charlotte didn't seem to mind getting her hands dirty.

I followed a magazine suggestion and let Caroline draw the face on the pumpkin with a dry erase marker (the lines just rub off later). I put dots where the eyes and nose should be and she drew the shapes.

Caroline ran to the kitchen and got her kiddy knife out of the drawer to "help" me carve.

I think it turned out perfect!
