Well, my folks are leaving this morning, so this could possibly be my last post for a bit. Although, who are we kidding - I'm addicted to blogging. My posts may all have to happen after 10 pm.
I need to download pictures. Caroline played outside with a water hose and buckets a couple days ago while Charlotte watched from the shade of the garage. Charlotte's belly button fell off on Sunday, so last night we put both girls in the bathtub together (we bought a new bath sling instead of the baby bathtub - trying to kill two birds with one stone here). It was so cute because Charlotte just looked at Caroline the whole time.
Funny Caroline stories...
- In addition to the bathroom linoleum, Caroline is also avoiding the two "whole" squares at the kitchen threshold. So she either hugs the pantry or the counter when entering or exiting the kitchen. I know this is probably normal toddler behavior but part of me wonders if she's headed for the guy in "As Good As It Gets."
- On Monday, Caroline somehow asked Kevin about his day at work. He began listing off the things he did during the day - wrote a design, downloaded fonts for a font project, etc. To each item, Caroline responded "k" or "uh-huh." It was so cute, watching her carry on a conversation like that. We kind of got her to repeat it last night too.

Caroline is so funny! Isn't it weird how they come up with stuff out of nowhere? I am constantly surprised at how quickly their minds and imaginations are developing. Oh, and putting the two kids in the bath is the best! I still get happy when I say "the kids", and I think it's cute that you get to say "the girls." Caroline will be Charlotte's major source of entertainment for the forseeable future. Ryan still cannot get enough of Addie.
I'm sure you'll still be blogging. It's YOU. It sounds like you are getting lots of things done with two kids. When Jackson was Charlotte's age, I had a hard time getting anything done like playing outside in the water. You're such a good mom.
