I'm a survivor

Well, I've survived my first full day without my mom. And we were able to accomplish simultaneous naps for all three of us girls yesterday and today. Only by the grace of God!!

I need to document some funny things Caroline's said since Charlotte arrived...

"Her eyes open." Apparently, Caroline has noticed that this doesn't happen very often, so she's always very excited to point it out.

"Gr-ommy." Yes, she had way too much grandma (if there is such a thing) for the past two weeks. So now that grandma is gone, it's a little hard for her to get my name right.

"Yucky." In reference to the rough skin on my big toe after a day of flip-flops. I think this is officially the first uncensored toddler comment Caroline has made. You know, the things kids say that could be rude or inappropriate if said to a stranger.

"There's something on it." About Charlotte's belly button before it fell off on Sunday. It was very distressing for her to look at - which she gets from her daddy.

"... my guys." This is what she calls her disney characters (stuffed and figurines). Many of whom now have assigned pacifiers (some old unused ones) now that Charlotte is here.

Addison has her "guys" too. They are her set of Winnie the Pooh characters or her set of Ocean animals that were from the aquarium. She always calls them "my guys". Where do they get this???

And I think Grommy is hilarious!
