So, I'm not a groundhog, but I'm predicting a lovely and moderate winter. How do I know?

Well, we got our new roof a few weeks ago (thank you Allstate and Hurricane Ike) and went ahead and sprung for radiant barrier to help keep the upstairs cool in the summer sun. And what happens? Cold snap.

Now our heater is broken and we'll most likely be purchasing a new unit. So once we are all warm and toasty again, I'm sure the weather will warm back up.

So, I'm prediciting nice, open window weather for the rest of the winter. Just thought you should know who to thank for it ; )
