This evening, Kevin was relating a story to me about handling a tough situation at work. I was so impressed with the wisdom he had shown speaking with his team that I told him so and kissed him on the cheek.
Caroline was playing while this unfolded and a couple minutes later, she gave her daddy a kiss in the same fashion. I think she was totally following my lead.
It reinforces what I've read in books... how Kevin and I relate to each other affects Caroline. I think that my admiration for Kevin at that moment rubbed off on her in the most precious way.
