I couldn't decide on an outfit for the birthday portrait... even with everyones help. But I did buy the main package in the dress since that is what the grandmother's both wanted. I compromised and did a picture in her birthday outfit too and bought a couple sheets of those.

Oh my gosh! What a beautiful birthday girl! I love the fancy dress and hair-bow portrait:) I'm putting it on my desktop wallpaper at home and school. We are so proud of Caroline on her birthday (and of her parents for successfully navigating this first year!) Just two days until cake and presents, Caroline! Oh boy!
I second what Grandma Owen had to say! When I first saw the one-yr pic at the top of the growth chart, I thought "What!? Where's the fancy dress?" :( But then I saw that you wisely did both (they only turn one once!), and they are both adorable, but the one in the dress with the head, ahem, hair accessory is gorgeous!
