I feel like I've been washing nonstop for a week. Several crib sheets, a couple early evening diaper changes that ended up with an early bath time, multiple outfits that needed immediate attention. Luckily, only one outfit ended up beyond repair... with the final straw ending during an unfortunate run in with bleach.
Today though, was the great wash-a-thon.
(First, they got disinfected - with a flip to do the other side.)
(And since I don't want Caroline licking the spray, then I hand washed all the toys in hot soapy water and rinsed in cold water.)
(And now on to drying.)
(And then there were the machine washables.)
(Hopefully, the "wet dog" look will go way when they are dry.)
It took well over an hour and I bought a brand new can of Clorox disinfecting spray for the occasion. My house smells "spring fresh" and I'm sure the aerosol is making a hole in the ozone right over my house, but oh well.
If anyone is doing early birthday shopping and wants to know if Caroline has a certain toy... just look at the pictures. It's all there except for a few larger items that I cleaned in place.

uh...Margie hun, shouldn't you be doing that after the cousins leave ? ROFL
If those are ALL the toys the child has Granny and I need to get out the checkbook. She isn't nearly spoiled enough.
How long to these viruses live? Do I need to wash all the toys at Grandma and Grandpa's too?
