Did you know that they have self checkout lanes at the library now?

I just got my first library card in, oh around 20 years. Libraries sure have come a long way from the days when they used to stamp your return date on a little brown card and then file a duplicate. I'm sure the librarians appreciate the new bar code system and computerized card catalog. The cool thing about the book search is that, with a click of the mouse, you can request a hold on the SUPER BABY FOOD book that is all checked out.
