Beginning sounds 2

Charlotte is exploding with her beginning sounds.  She's done two worksheets this week and done really well... except why would you put a cow and give C and K as an option on a preschool worksheet - seriously?

We just finished labeling half a dozen things on a princess picture and she identified both the sound and letter for the words (hair, princess, dress, nose, lips, etc.).

I think that sometimes I fear that my successes with teaching Caroline are unique and that things won't go as well with subsequent children.  I'm feeling really good that Charlotte is showing a love for learning so early and all on her own initiative.  Especially since I know she's not getting as much attention in that area as her older sister did.
