Here are the girls coloring their "10 Lepers" lesson. We talked about the one man that came back and thanked Jesus for healing him.
Here are the girls fingerpainting on our Thankful tree. We still haven't gotten around to writing our thankful things on it, but it turned out really cute.
Caroline and I tore the brown construction paper into pieces and glued them in a tree shape after Charlotte was in bed the previous night. Then we all fingerpainted. Caroline did the top left (the poster is upside down on the table), Charlotte did the top right, and I filled in the lower branches. The girls were more into smearing paint around, while I made lots of finger dots. I think that Charlotte was really into how it felt on her fingers because she kept rubbing the same part over and over. Caroline isn't into having paint on her hands and quickly wanted a towel to periodically wipe her hands with.
Here is the sponge activity. Its a repeat for Caroline to use the garlic press, but a fun one. Charlotte was just given sponges to squeeze. When I modeled it, I said "squeeze" over the water container and then "plop" into the empty container. She was very into repeating "plop" each time she finished.
