I talked Kevin into bringing his telescope on the trip and after putting it together on Saturday, we finally had a clear night for viewing by Tuesday.
So after we got the kids all cleaned and ready for bed, everyone got a turn to look at the moon and it's craters. It was a really clear picture.
The kids entertained each other playing "Open, Shut Them" and singing songs about nighttime like "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."
Kevin also got Venus and Saturn in the sights, but we kept losing them since wind was blowing the telescope just enough to move our sights.
