After dinner fun

We usually have about 45 minutes of play after dinner before the girls' bedtime routine starts. It can really fly by when we are busy cleaning up dinner, getting dogs fed, and catching up on our days.

Here's one night we had some family fun in the dining room. Charlotte played around while Caroline laid out all her new library books for daddy to examine. We are finally into a routine of going to the library each week to get library books. We get about five books... which are usually just the first books Caroline can pull off the shelve. Sometimes I get her to slow down and we actually discuss the titles and I check for appropriateness. We also get one book on CD that Caroline listens to during her afternoon quiet time.





The girls both ended up playing piano together. They look so cute sitting next to each other on the piano bench.
