The answer....

Caroline's pictures are from Angry Birds.  The parts on the right are the blocks that hold up the green pigs... which of course the birds are angry at.  The parts on the left are the sling shots and the birds waiting in line.

In the fourth picture, you can even tell that the blue bird has been shot and "clicked" to split into three birds.  Very accurate!
