I'm with the band

We were both in band in high school and let's just say that we are band nerds to the core. We still get a kick out of high school football games.

Anyway, we found out from a friend that a UIL marching competion was going on at the Berry Center this weekend. So we decided to take the girls. Caroline enjoyed the flags and colors of the uniforms. Charlotte really liked the music. She was making happy, loud sounds right back at them.




There was an hour break after we saw the first two bands, so we headed home and had a quick picnic in the backyard (since our neighbor was mowing in the front). Caroline got to eat in her playhouse.

We went back and saw three more bands. It was a fun way to spend Saturday morning/afternoon.
