Studio Movie Grill

Does anyone know much about Studio movie grill? I was wanting to take Caroline to see Horton Hears a Who next week. But, do you HAVE to buy a meal? Is it just frowned upon not to? It's not a cheap outing if you have to buy lunch at the movie.

Let me know your thoughts. If I decide to go, I'll post the day we are going so other's can join us.

Studio Movie Grill is lots of fun, I think!

The food is not particularly awesome for the price (chicken fingers are, in the end, just chicken fingers, even at Layne's). I don't think they'll stick their noses up at you if you don't get anything, but you'll likely be the only person there who doesn't and you'll have to sit there while everyone else munches for a little bit before the show starts.

Have fun!

You can also go to Cinemark. We bought tickets to the whole summer series of kids' movies they're doing. It's $1 per person. The movies are Tuesday/ Wednesday starting at 10am. There you don't have to buy anything. We sneak in our own snacks (don't tell). You can see the movies they're showing at http://www.cinemark.com/summermovieclubhouse/373.html
there are a couple movies we plan to skip because of rating, but Madelyn and I are going alone to see Tale of Despereaux so we can stay for the whole thing. If you want to join us, let me know.
