Wonderful World of Welch

Caroline was playing with her stamps today and wanted me to play with her.

"Say please mommy," Caroline says, holding out the pink stamp pad.
"Oh," I say, kind of confused because I wasn't asking her for anything. And then I figured out what was going on, so I say, "Please may I use the pink ink pad?"

"Say please mommy," Caroline says, holding up the pink stamp (because the color of our stamps usually matches the color of ink that we have to use).
"Please can I have the stamp." And we continued the game.

I think it's funny that something has clicked with her and now she's turning the rules around on me.
