Our biggest event of the week was a road trip to Pearland to see my friend, Carrie, and her 3 week old son, Zack. We went with my friend, Melissa, and her kids. Addison and Caroline were born in the same month and they always have a blast together.
The trip went without a hitch. God really answered my prayer for an easy trip in a mini-van with two moms, two babies, and two toddlers. I only missed one exit ; )
I'm sure Carrie thought we were a little nuts with all our kids. I remember how out of control even the most organized moms seemed to me when I didn't have kids.
But, as Carrie puts it, Melissa and I are supermoms and pros. So just look how we wrangle the girls...
Not to worry, we eventually let them out...
Then the girls played in Zack's room while we were able to visit. It's so wonderful to have two girls that can play unsupervised and not kill each other or destroy someone's house. We are so blessed.
The best part of this week is that Charlotte has been smiling. I'll upload a video in my next post.
We just don't take enough pictures with mommy...
I'm trying to dole out Caroline's easter eggs so I can finally put everything in the attic. Check out Caroline's new hairstyle. I moved her pigtails closer to the sides of her head and it's so cute.
And the sweetest part of my week. The girls in bed together. These are both from naptimes. I laid Charlotte on Caroline's pillow so that I could read a book. But Caroline decided to cuddle up and read to Charlotte. She's such a good big sister.

That is awesome that Caroline is so loving with Charlotte. She is such a sweetie. And I love your comment about playing unsupervised without killing each other or destroying the house. That really is an amazing feat!
