Roll out the red carpet

So, just in case any of you are jealous that Caroline is practically potty trained, let me tell you that I cleaned pee off of our carpet in three instances today.

We've had a pretty good run lately so I can't complain.

The first instance is the funniest...

Caroline was upstairs watching her show while I was downstairs, getting ready and folding laundry while talking on the phone to a friend (man can I multi-task). And what walks through my bedroom but a naked little girl. I'm sure my one sided conversation was pretty hilarious to my friend. "Why are you naked... where are your clothes... did you have an accident... lets go upstairs... oh, no!!"

Caroline had pee'd on the carpet, not four feet from the potty. I guess she had a little trouble undressing herself. She'd already put her wet panties in her laundry basket - what a good little girl. I don't know why she thought she needed to take off her shirt.

She actually repeated the naked scene later in the day after successfully getting to the potty in time. Taking all her clothes off (other than bathtime) is a first in this household.

The other accident happened before bathtime. I gave both the girls an early bath, rather than getting a new outfit for Caroline. And then when I got Charlotte out of the tub and was getting ready to dress her, she pee'd through the towel I had her on. At least I only had to get the carpet cleaner out once. Maybe the girls planned it that way.... oh no, they are ganging up on me already!!
