Potty success

So, we went cold turkey last Wednesday with potty training. Caroline had been in pull-ups for six months.

I've been keeping her in panties during the day and decided to try a sticker chart again (thanks Karlin). We've had a handful of accidents, but things have gone pretty well.

Today, I was sitting on the floor nursing Charlotte while playing Jenga with Caroline. We'd hit a lull in the game and Caroline was playing around with other stuff. Then all of a sudden she rushed off to the bathroom and said "me go potty."

I got up to go see what she was up too. Was she playing? Was she having an accident?

No, she was pulling off her skort and panties, stepping out of them, sitting herself on the potty, and going.

I was so excited that I let her call to tell daddy at work. Then I gave her a dollar store trinket that I had hanging around as a special present. And all just in time for Grandma and Grandpa to arrive this morning for more bragging.

Ok, that does it. I am going to brace myself for a week of messes, but we are going to do it too!!!

That's awesome! Lydia's still firmly in diapers, not even training pants yet. I *might* try to potty train her this summer, but I suffer from FOF (Fear of Failure, remember that on Family Matters that one time? LOL).
