Why do babies sleep on their knees (with their bottoms up in the air)? Grown-ups don't sleep that way... do they?
(Note: I've never actually done Yoga, but I had to google the official name for her pose.)

Two things - I was always told so they could release gas easier. Who knows if that's true!
- the other thing is - there's a really cute DVD of yoga for moms & babies - and the puppy pose is on there and you do different bark noises as you do the pose over the baby. It seems so goofy to do but Landon & my friend's baby LOVES it. It's pretty cute. The DVD is at Target by Parenting magazine - it's good exercise!
Gas... that makes sense. We all know how gassy babies are : )
I kind of have a feeling that Caroline is getting too old to be still enough for me to do a yoga pose over her ; ) I'll keep that in mind for the next one.
I don't sleep that way, but I might start! It looks comfy. That's probably why they do it.
Just kidding, btw.
I don't know why, but I just know it's the all-time cutest thing that babies do.
You know what I just realized? I have a video that calls this position "child's pose" so I guess it really is a universal kid thing.
Yes! I have done a little yoga and "child's pose" is one of my all-time favorites. So relaxing! (I DON'T sleep that way though, LOL). It might be worth trying for a quick nap!
