Before Kevin and I got married, we did some of our pre-marriage counseling with my campus pastor, Max. One of the things we talked about was that we can sometimes operate "child mode" or "adult mode." We all need to have "child mode" times to refresh ourselves. Tonight, I had "child mode." Kevin even commented that it makes him so happy to see me having this much fun.
What was I doing?
Goofing off on YouTube watching 80's videos. I feel like a dorky teenager... not that I was a teenager in the 80's but the songs just make me feel so young. I will even admit that I was sitting in the loft with the laptop and headphones on (until the battery ran out) singing to Kevin while he watched PTI. These videos are montages, so you get a ton of fun for your time spent.
So enjoy...

That post made me happy, too. I actually did a little dance in my office (glad i have an office with a door!).
That's interesting re: the child mode and adult mode. Do you and Kevin find that one of you is more child mode and the other one is more adult mode?
I am catching up on old blogs I've missed since I started keeping Paige (I spend a lot more time sleeping and a lot less on the computer now!) But, as Kevin's mother, I am 99.9% sure who is more child mode (and who indulges him and lets him be so) ;)
I'm glad you got to indulge yours!
