New Tile

Last week was a crazy week because we had new tile installed in the kitchen and breakfast area.

It wouldn't have been so bad except that I decided to paint before the floor came. The store told us it would be a two week lead time before the tile came, but that ended up being only four days. I'm glad the tile came early, but it left me in a mad dash - painting during naptimes - to get the paint done. And of course, the tile guys got grout handprints all over, so I had to get another quart and repaint the entire room after they left. Oh, well... it looks marvelous!!

I haven't finished decorating yet, but here are pictures...




I can't imagine how long this job would have taken us to do ourselves. I'm so happy that it is done.
